Refurbished Equipment

Bowers Electricals Ltd hold one of the largest stocks in Europe of used power equipment, including Power and Distribution Transformers; HV & LV switchgear; induction and DC motors; control gear; power factor correction equipment and other associated power equipment. All our equipment is offered fully refurbished, with a warranty of two years on transformers and one year on all other equipment.

Transformers
Our range of Refurbished Transformers includes standard Distribution up to 5MVA and Power Transformers up to 90MVA. The stocks include all insulation mediums including Oil, Midel, Silicon & FR3, as well as stocks of Cast Resin & Air Cooled Transformers. Special ratio Transformers both in step up & step down designs are also readily available.

HV Switchgear
Our HV Switchgear range includes 3.3kV/11kV, 33kV and 132kV, including SF6, oil and vacuum circuit breakers. Our engineering team can assist with design and offer protection arrangements to suit requirements, from typical transformer feeders and incomers, to generator system protection. We are able to offer extensions to existing switchboards and hold a huge spares inventory.



LV Switchgear
Our range of LV Switchgear includes most types of manufacture. Switchboards are available with switch fuses, MCCB's, ACB's and are offered in various form type arrangements.

Rotating Equipment
Our rotating equipment includes induction motors up to 5000KW; DC motors; gearboxes; inverters; thyristor drives and other associated equipment.




All our equipment is offered fully overhauled in accordance with ISO9001 2000, with O&M Manuals and General Arrangement drawings. We can also offer installation of all our equipment and complete system project engineering.
